To support graduating seniors pursuing nursing careers. Qualifications: Eligible students must be graduating seniors from El Dorado High School who plan to pursue postsecondary education in the field of nursing. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, academic merit and financial need. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay describing the reasons the applicant wants to pursue a nursing career, and describing his/her educational plans. Focus: Nursing.
