To support graduating seniors who are also golf players and who plan to attend college and play golf in college. Qualifications: Eligible students must be El Dorado High School graduating seniors who have participated in the EHS golf program; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must plan to play collegiate golf. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, academic merit, character, financial need, and proposed college golf program. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay on describing why the applicant feels he/she is deserving of the award, and a brief description of college and post-college career plans.
