To provide financial support to students who desire to further their education without financial burden at the University of Oregon. Qualifications: Applicants must be an Oregon resident; must be incoming first-year student; must have extraordinary financial need; preference is given to students who declare a major in the humanities, visual arts, education, or music. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on financial need, with additional consideration given to the student's major, professional goals, academic performance, and family educational background; priority is given to first-generation college students. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; must be list the UO as one of applicants choices; the school code is 003223; must submit the free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1; dreamer students (DACA, TPS, or other undocumented) should submit the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) by March 1 if they are ineligible for the FASFA.
