Institute for Life Course and Aging University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work
To provide support travel and related conference expenses for University of Toronto graduate students presenting a paper in the field of aging or gerontology. Qualifications: Applicants must be duly registered in the School of Graduate Studies, University of Toronto at the time of applications and at the time the conference is held. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on financial need. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; paper to be presented must be submitted in final or polished draft format; a supporting letter from the student’s supervisor must be submitted giving an opinion of the student’s academic promise and, in the case of a co-authored paper, describe the degree of contribution of the student to the paper; application package must include the following: the paper to be presented; an official letter from conference organizers confirming acceptance of paper/poster to be presented; a supporting letter from the student’s supervisor must be submitted outlining the student’s academic promise; a cover letter detailing student’s specific financial needs i.e., conference details including name, date and place of conference, as well as including basic information about the conference.
