To promote studies in economic history, trade, industrial and commercial subjects, and labor relations. Qualifications: Applicants must be doctoral candidates; undergraduates, master's students, and graduate students not yet admitted to Ph.D. candidacy are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection is based on scholarly qualifications, the merits of the proposals and the appropriateness of the topics as demonstrated by citation to specific sources in the collections.
