To provide assistance to students pursuing a career in the water industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be full- or part-time graduate student, member of AWWA, attending graduate school in Virginia in the fall current year semester, with the intention of a career in the water industry. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on merit. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; a resume indicating applicants academic performance, work/research experience and extracurricular activities; unofficial or official up-to-date transcript or official semester schedule of school currently attending; a completed "VA AWWA Student Scholarship" application; a reference letter from an instructor or professor; a 1,000-word essay on a water topic of applicants choice (Extra consideration will be given to drinking water topics); should be submitted electronically form. Focus: Water resources; Water supply industry.
