To provide financial support to minority students pursuing a degree in accounting. Qualifications: Applicants must be junior, senior, or "fifth year" accounting majors currently enrolled at an accredited Virginia college/university with the intent of taking the CPA exam; and must demonstrate a minimum overall and accounting GPA of 3.0; must be a student member of the Society (free to students); must be a member of one of the following race/ethnic groups: African American or Black, Asian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino, Multiracial or Biracial, Native American, or Native Alaskan.
