To recognize and support employee at a individuals site who has made significant contributions to the VPP program. Qualifications: Applicants must be a VPPPA Full member in good standing to qualify; must demonstrate their contributions to VPP at their site; students must be pursuing a degree (undergraduate or graduate) either full-time or part-time; all applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale, if already enrolled; open to employees enrolled in, or enrolling in, a vocational school, college, or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; all applicants must submit a completed application, an official transcript and a reference letter relating to their VPP involvement at their site from a VPP coordinator, operations manager, site EHS staff, OSHA, Regional VPPPA Chapter Chairperson, etc.; a reference letter from a high school teacher, university department head, professor, or supervisor at applicants current job; typed biography or current resume. Focus: Environmental conservation; Occupational safety and health.
