To support the education of aspiring water resources students. Qualifications: Applicant must be a high senior residing within the Delaware River Basin who will attend a properly accredited junior college, college, or university in the Fall of previous year; applicants must also have an interest in issues related to water resources; immediate family members of WRA’s Board of Directors are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic performance, who exhibits an interest in a water resource and environmental issue(s) and solutions and is also involved in the community. Measures of academic performance include a respectable cumulative GPA for grades ten through twelve and a statement of career goals. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; provide a summary of academic interests and achievements, job and volunteer history, extracurricular and community activities, and career goals as they relate to the above selection criteria; summaries should be limited to about 700 words; application must include two letters of reference (they can be generic but preferably from teachers, community leaders, mentors and/or counselors) and a transcript with grades for all courses taken within the last three years supportive materials. Focus: Water resources.
