To encourage individuals who have the potential to make a significant positive difference in understanding wilderness and how to protect graduate students in the United States. Qualifications: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate institution in the United States at the time of application; have strong academic qualifications; and have academic and/or career goals focused on making a significant positive difference in the long-term protection of wilderness in the United States; applicants diverse academic disciplines, regions, and universities. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; A two-page double-spaced cover letter, 3-5 page double-spaced proposal, current résumé or curriculum vitae; Two letters of recommendation, Scanned undergraduate and graduate transcripts, 1-page budget summarizing how funds will be spent; materials in PDF format. Focus: Conservation of natural resources.
