To provide for athletic training students who are in their second year or beyond of a Wisconsin professional athletic training program who have distinguished themselves academically and performed with distinction. Qualifications: Applicant must be a member of NATA/GLATA and WATA; have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number; must currently be enrolled in a professional athletic training program at a college or university in Wisconsin; must have completed their FIRST YEAR of a professional athletic training program; conduct themselves in a manner that has brought credit to themselves, their institution, and the ideals and objectives of American higher education; conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the NATA BOC code of ethical standard. Selection criteria: Evaluation by the sponsoring Licensed; Certified Athletic Trainer; Supervisor. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include official embossed transcripts; student essay(250 – 500 words); letter of recommendation: student’s strengths and weaknesses, degree of expertise the applicant has attained in Athletic Training; any additional comments you would like to make.
