To support athletic trainer who demonstrates enrollment in a professional program at an accredited institution of higher learning. Qualifications: Applicant must be a member of the NATA/GLATA and WATA; must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number; must demonstrate enrollment in a master's or doctoral program at an accredited institution of higher learning; must conduct themselves in a manner that bestows credit to themselves, their institution, and the ideals and objectives of American Higher Education; must be a practicing athletic trainer or athletic training educator in Wisconsin pursuing a master's or doctoral degree that will contribute to the athletic training profession; conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the NATA BOC code of ethical standards; previous recipients not eligible. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to students who will demonstrate qualities of leadership. How to apply: Applicants must be submit application form; should include essay explain how the degree will advance the athletic training profession; letter of support; official embossed transcripts; institutional endorsement (attached separately).
