Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies
Award: $1,250–$2,500
To assist policy holders' children who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Qualifications: Applicants must be Children of WAEPA members insured under WAEPA's Group Term Life Insurance Program and Short-Term Disability Insurance are welcomed to apply; all applicants must be under the age of 23; high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year; gpa of 3.0 (or its equivalent): students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent); waepa members and associate members are not eligible to apply.
