To assist underserved young women in the Austin metro area so they may pursue postsecondary education and become future leaders. Qualifications: Applicants must be women from underserved communities in the Austin metro area (LGBTQIA community; Black, Indigenous, and students of color; first-generation students; students with disabilities; and students from low-income families) who are pursuing postsecondary education at a vocational, two-year, or four-year educational institution in the United States. Selection criteria: Preference given to high school seniors in Del Valle ISD. How to apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form along with an official copy of college transcript; two recommendation letters; short bio; resume; community service short essay; personal essay.
