To provide for studies in any area which would be of benefit to the development of northern communities, including but not limited to: the areas of justice, the environment, alternate dispute resolution, aboriginal law. Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate financial need and evidence of remaining in or returning to the Yukon; must be a member. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on awards committee then reviews all the recommendations, and makes the final decisions on the grants and the scholarships. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; provide the following documents: a copy of applicants most recent transcript; letter of acceptance or proof of enrolment document from applicants educational institution. Focus: Criminal justice; Environmental science; Law.
