To assist students in pursuing a post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of Alberta and planning to enroll full-time in post-secondary programs; for each year of bursary funding, a student must live and work for one year in northern Alberta; students must have up to six months after graduation to find employment related to their fields of study. Selection criteria: Selection will be based o the committee's criteria; based on applicants: program of studies and the demand for career program in northern Alberta; knowledge of northern Alberta; academic record; answers to essay questions, and financial need. How to apply: Application form must be submitted on-line; follow the instructions included on the website when applying; applications for Bursary Partnership Program must be mailed to the NADC office by the sponsor; the Health Care Practicum Applications must be emailed to Alberta Health Services.
