To encourage and reward the excellence of Albertans in post-secondary study. Qualifications: Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person (visa students are not eligible); must be an Alberta resident; must be a graduate from Sexsmith Secondary School in the current year; must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program related to agriculture, engineering, fine arts, health or the trades; must be demonstrate a high academic standing in Grade 12. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic excellence as calculated from the final standings received in five eligible Grade 12 courses as recorded on an official Alberta Transcript of High School Achievement. How to apply: Applicants must be submit a completed application form. Focus: Agriculture, Economic aspects; Art; Art industries and trade; Engineering.
