To assist beginning periodontal educators in launching their career. Qualifications: Candidates must be in their third year of a nonmilitary accredited periodontal post-doctoral training program in the United States as of the application deadline, and intend to pursue a career in full-time periodontal teaching and research in the United States; a strong interest in periodontal education is the primary qualification; in addition, the selected candidates must demonstrate excellent character, integrity, a record of academic and personal achievements, and an aptitude for teaching and research.
