To provide undergraduate and graduate students in any textile-related discipline with a dozen separate scholarships. Qualifications: Applicants must be a parent or guardian; must be an employee of an NCTO member company and/or organization. Selection criteria: Selection is based on the following: letter of recommendation; personal statement explaining how this scholarship will assist studies in support of the American fiber industry; honors and awards, including academic achievement; extracurricular activities; community, church, or service activities; SAT or ACT scores (high school seniors); grade point average/ration (GPA/GPR); GPA in major (college students); transcript; financial need and other scholarships awarded.
