To support individuals working at a hotel who want to advance their careers. Qualifications: Applicants must be current hotel employee working a minimum of 35 hours per week at an AHLA member hotel; at least 12 months of hotel employment experience; must be enrolled in an undergraduate hospitality-related degree-granting program, with the exception of the rama and graduate scholarships, at a U.S. college or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the professional, community, and extracurricular activities; and personal attributes, including career goals as expressed in a required essay; financial need; gpa; extracurricular activities; honors and awards; work experience, including hospitality; work experience; personal attributes; responses to essay questions.
