To provide an outstanding mathematician to help further their career in research. Qualifications: Applicants must be recipient of the fellowship shall have held their doctoral degree for at least three years and not more than twelve years at the awarding of the Fellowship; will be accepted from those currently holding a tenured, tenure track, post-doctoral, or comparable (at the discretion of the selection committee) position at an institution in North America; recipient of the fellowship must be a member of the AMS at the time of application; must be a citizen or permanent resident of a country in North America. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the excellence of the candidate's research; preference will be given to candidates who have not had extensive fellowship support in the past. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online list of all positions and fellowships information; research statement; research plan; key professional accomplishments; current and pending support; positions and fellowships since PhD; references; 2-3 page NSF-style Biographical Sketch. Focus: Mathematics and mathematical sciences.
