To recognize graduate students studying in the field of radiation protection & shielding. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a course of study relating to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear related field; U.S. and non-U.S. residents may apply; if they are enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited institution in the United States (or its territories); ANS members from established international student sections may also apply. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria and evaluation is based upon numerous factors, such as, academic excellence, leadership within the ANS, references, career goals, and financial need.
