To support engineering students who are specializing in the railway industry. Qualifications: Student's institution must be located in Norfolk Southern's service area; enrolled students must have completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate/graduate degree program; applicants must be enrolled in a Graduate or Undergraduate program leading to a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in a curriculum which has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (or comparable accreditation in Canada and Mexico); the applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be an AREMA member.
