To provide for occupational safety and health students and professionals working towards their educational goals. Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled in an OSH-related degree program and taking courses with at least three credit hours in progress; may be earning an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s degree, or be enrolled in a doctorate program; ASSP membership is not required but preferred, and in most cases, applicants who are ASSP members will receive priority. Selection criteria: Applicants will be based on academic performance, leadership activity, motivation for entering the filed and letter of recommendation. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcript(s): a transcript is required for every level of education applicants have received, as well as a current transcript showing applicants current academic status; transcripts do not need to be the official transcripts and may be the transcript downloaded from applicants university’s student portal; if applicants are enrolled in a graduate or doctorate program, applicants will need to include applicants undergraduate transcript that reflects applicants undergraduate GPA and graduation status; letter(s) of Recommendation: at least one current letter of recommendation is required; letters are an important piece of the review and scoring of applications, so applicants are highly encouraged to submit three letters of recommendation; it is highly recommended that applicants include a letter of recommendation from applicants department chair or a professor in applicants current program; do not submit letters that are not current; applicants are responsible for requesting, collecting and uploading current letters of recommendation; only letters submitted through the online application will be accepted.
