To encourage full-time students to excel in their area of study. Qualifications: Applicants must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in hydrology, hydrogeology, or another water-resources-related program at any 4-year university or college in Arizona; previous winners of this academic scholarship are not eligible; however, they can apply for our intern scholarship program. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on GPA, based on at least four full semesters of course work; recommendation letter(s); application letter; background in hydrology and water-resources-related activities; degree of financial need. How to apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; an application letter that describes the applicant's interests and career goals in hydrology and water resources and their financial need; a resume describing the applicant's background in hydrology- and water-resources-related activities; unofficial transcripts (graduate and undergraduate, if applicable, with official transcripts required if the applicant receives the award); at least one confidential recommendation letter. Focus: Hydrology.
