To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; Active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC Scholarships. GPA: 2.0+must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year citizenship: United States and all other countries grade level: H.S. senior, undergrad, graduate; license requirement: applicant must hold a Technician Class or higher Amateur Radio Operators license; region: preference will be given to applicants residing in Louisiana; if no qualified applicant is identified, the scholarship may be awarded to an applicant from the Delta Division (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee); field of study: Business, Science, Math, Engineering or Technology-related field; institution: Fully accredited institution or university; applicant must be a US citizen. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the Committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; some scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover the applicant’s entire high school career to date and, if the applicant is in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
