To support licensed amateur radio operators from Florida who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active amateur radio license; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; citizenship: united states and all other countries; grade level: H.S. senior, undergrad, graduate. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; preference will be given to residents of Pasco County, Florida; if no qualified applicant is identified then preference will be given to residents of the West Central Florida section counties. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted WITH the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded; applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club.
