To support licensed amateur radio operators in Georgia who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; citizenship: United States and all other countries; grade level: H.S. senior, undergraduate, graduate; license requirement: any active amateur radio license class; region: resident of Gwinnett county GA, or the State of GA; institution: 4 year college or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
