To provide financial assistance to students who have the license for higher education. Qualifications: Applicants must be holding an amateur radio license; must have GPA: 2.0+; must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; must have general class or higher license; must be resident of New England states (ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, MA) and NY; must enroll in bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, communications, or related fields; must from any Institution in New England or NY. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application; should include: transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; applications without accompanying transcripts and additional required documents (if applicable) will not be considered; for letters of recommendation, an email will be sent to them when applicants enter their information on the application; if applicants are currently in high school applicants are required to upload a copy of the FAFSA (if available) with applicants scholarship application.
