To provide for eligible amateur radio operators pursuing higher education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active technician class or higher; ARRL Northwestern Division (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska), with preference given to residents of Oregon; field of study: sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics fields; institution: any accredited 2- or 4-year college or university; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license citizenship: United States and All Other Countries; grade level: HS, senior, undergrad, graduate. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded; applications without accompanying transcripts and additional required documents (if applicable) will not be considered.
