To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education in technical fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of Hawaii and a current graduating senior from Roosevelt High School (must have attended Roosevelt High school for four years); must be attending a four-year college or university in the continental United States as a full-time student; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, and demonstrate financial need; Field of Study: Technical field; institution: Any accredited 4-year college or university, must be a US citizen; applicant must have a demonstrated previous grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in high school or in the previous undergraduate year. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the Committee criteria; Preference will be given to Central Florida hams (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, Brevard and Polk Counties); if no suitable applicant found, preference will be given to hams from the State of Florida. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; some scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover the applicant’s entire high school career to date and, if the applicant is in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
