To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education related to the radio arts. Qualifications: Applicants must be accredited 4-year college or university; all applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; citizenship: United States and all other countries; grade level: H.S. senior, undergrad, graduate; must be a resident of Florida. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria; preference given to residents of Central Florida (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, Brevard and Polk Counties). How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club.
