To provide financial assistance to students who have the license for higher education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC scholarships; must have GPA 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year citizenship united states and all other countries grade level; H.S. senior, undergraduate, graduate; Technician Class or higher; residence in Central IL in one of these counties: Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Knox, McLean, Fulton, Logan, Marshall or Stark; accredited 2 or 4-year college or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on Committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted WITH the application and not emailed separately; A number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting Officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; Transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded. Focus: Radio and television.
