To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, licensed amateur radio operator attending an accredited postsecondary institution; all applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; Active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC Scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; Must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; Citizenship: United States and All Other Countries; Grade Level: H.S. Senior, Undergrad, Graduate. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria; preference will be given to applicants from Virginia; if no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to applicants from Maryland or the District of Columbia (DC). How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted WITH the application and not emailed separately; A number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting Officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; Transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
