To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education in medical and health fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active Technician Class License or higher; region: any; field of study: must be pursuing a field of study leading to a career in the healing arts, including but not limited to a career in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, EMT, or radiology; institution: any accredited 2- or 4-year college or university; should describe how they have engaged in volunteer and/or public service activities making use of amateur radio; if possible, applicants should show a desire to encourage others in the healing arts to become licensed hams; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license citizenship: United states and All Other Countries; grade level: H.S. senior, undergrad, graduate. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the Committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; transcripts must cover applicants entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded; applications without accompanying transcripts and additional required documents (if applicable) will not be considered.
