To help full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in a Nursing or Physician’s Assistant program achieve their academic goals. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate nursing or physician assistant program is eligible; students at AICUP member colleges and universities; student must be enrolled during the last year-current year academic year at a college or university that is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP); each applicant must also be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a nursing or a physician assistant program; award recipients will have at least a 3.0 GPA; ideal candidates are campus leaders and community volunteers; previous recipients of the McLean Scholarship are not eligible to reapply. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; Application materials for ONE student must be combined into a single PDF file with the student’s name and institution name used as the filename; students must complete an application, write a required essay, and sign a verification page. Students are also encouraged to provide a copy of their academic transcript, a letter of recommendation; students and parents who are interested in the scholarships should contact their college or university’s Financial Aid Office to apply; applications submitted directly to AICUP will not be accepted.
