To assist ALPFA college students with meeting the financial obligations of their degree program. Qualifications: Applicants must be degree-seeking, full-time student enrolled in a two-year college, four-year university, or graduate program in the United States and Puerto Rico; undergraduates: must remain enrolled as a full-time student ( min 12 Credits) the following semester after receiving the award; incoming Freshman Students who will (expect to) enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program in the upcoming academic year (Fall current year) are also eligible; graduate students: graduate students may be enrolled part-time (min 5 credits) or full-time (min 9 credits); candidates of any race, ethnicity, or nationality are welcome to apply; scholarships are open to all majors; a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher (out of 4.0) is required for scholarship eligibility. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the highest cumulative application scores from ALPFA judges and crossed with specific award eligibility.
