To assist outstanding, minority high school seniors from low-income households who plan to pursue postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a high school senior; U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident; must be Pell-eligible and in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent); and from at least one of the following ethnicities: African American, Native American/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include outstanding academic record, demonstrated leadership ability, and exceptional personal success skills.
