To provide an helps fund the educations of Duluth and Ely public schools graduates in environmental science, social work or related fields at the University of Minnesota Duluth or Vermilion Community College. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduates of Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East, Harbor City International School, or Ely Memorial High School; must attend either Vermilion Community College or the University of Minnesota Duluth and demonstrate financial need; must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to pursue a field of study in environmental science or social work; applicants may be eligible if live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin; must planning to attend a college, university, community or technical college, or trade school; must meet criteria related to applicants academic interests, school, or community involvement.
