To support college students and high school seniors pursuing engineering or geology studies at a Minnesota college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must either be residents of Minnesota at the time of their high school graduation or attend a Minnesota college or university, including two-year colleges with the intent to transfer to a four-year institution; must demonstrate financial need, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and be pursuing a field of study in Engineering or Geology; applicants may be eligible if live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin; must planning to attend a college, university, community or technical college, or trade school; must meet criteria related to applicants academic interests, school, or community involvement. Selection criteria: Priority to those who express an interest in working in the Minnesota mining industry. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form. Focus: Engineering; Mining.
