To provide financial assistance to students who pursue education in college. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduating seniors from Mary Carroll High School, Collegiate High School, Richard King High School, Foy H. Moody High School, Roy Miller High School, Veterans Memorial High School, W.B. Ray High School, or Harold T. Branch Academy; must have a minimum GPA of 90% on a 100% scale; must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university; must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria; selected based on the availability of funds and the competitiveness of the applicant pool for each scholarship. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; the following documents into applicants scholarship application: current official transcript from applicants school registrar; school will not provide applicants with an official transcript (CCISD) applicants must an unofficial transcript from the registrar; do not mail applicants transcript to the CBCF office; it will not be accepted and applicants application will not be considered; applicants will need to applicants transcript from the registrar, scan it into a computer, as a pdf, and it directly into the scholarship application; do not submit the transcript applicants see on applicants student portal; this is not an official transcript. applicants must request one from applicants registrar; ACT/SAT Score reports (encouraged but not required); most recent FAFSA Student Aid Report (all pages) if applicants wish to be considered for need-based scholarships; one letter of recommendation; two essays.
