To fund a student who will attend:FGCU University of Florida/Gainesville, Florida State University/Tallahassee, Flagler College, Stetson University/Deland, University of Miami, University of Tampa, or Embry Riddle Aeronautical University/Daytona Beach. Qualifications: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Glades, Hendry or Lee county; must pursue a degree in architecture, business, engineering, international affairs and relations, journalism, computer and information sciences, law, literature, medicine, physics, chemistry, or political science; must document financial need; must possess a 3.5 GPA or higher; must be 23 years of age or younger and a first-time college student. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit application via online; the federal student financial aid application (FAFSA); (SAR) that shows each student's estimated family contribution (EFC) score; current transcript; SAT and/or ACT test scores; and at least one reference letter. Applicants should obtain a reference letter from a person outside of their family and can attest to their character while knowing the applicant well enough to pass judgement with credibility.
