To support a member who seeks professional development. Qualifications: Applicant must be a CRLA member teaching reading at a community college who seeks professional development through participation in the annual CRLA conference; at least three years of experience in teaching basic and/or college reading at a community college. How to apply: Applicants must submit a 500-700-word essay describing how the Cengage travel award would be used to foster their professional development and/or research and scholarship. Applicants should be as specific as possible about how they will select strands and sessions to facilitate the growth they are seeking. Focus: Education; Reading.
