To support local college students pursuing degrees in education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior year college student pursuing a degree in education; must have been involved in athletics during their high school and college years at any level or of any type, including intramural sports; must attend an accredited postsecondary institution in the United States during the upcoming academic year on a full-time basis; must maintain a permanent address with the Foundation's service area (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Preference given to applicants in their senior year of college and those studying to teach mathematics, physical education, computer science, and/or elementary education. How to apply: Applicant must complete the application through the online portal. Transcripts, SAT and ACT scores (if available), SAI number from FAFSA (if available) and email address of individuals who will supply recommendations are required. Focus: Education.
