To honor his long-standing relationship with the community foundation and the passion he held for helping local students pursue their educational goals. Qualifications: Applicants must be the student must be a graduate of East Aurora high school or West Aurora high school; the student may be planning to attend a 2-year college, 4-year college or university, or trade program; Preference for a student who is involved in the community; the student is to have a minimum GPA of 3.0.; complete their high school education during, at the conclusion of, or prior to the current academic year as follows; high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school; home-schooled high school education general educational development (GED) certificate or state certificate; applicants must attend an accredited post-secondary institution within the united states of America during the upcoming academic year; applicants must pursue studies (career/technical/vocational, undergraduate, graduate, etc.) on a full-time basis during the upcoming academic year; applicants must maintain a permanent address located within the community foundation scholarship program service area (a few exceptions apply); service area includes the following areas within the State of Illinois: (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; grade Transcripts; SAT and ACT test scores; student aid Index (SAI) number from a processed free application for federal student aid (FAFSA); email addresses of individuals from whom applicants will request a recommendation.
