To provide scholarships to local students pursuing careers that nurture the well-being, care, and development of children. Qualifications: Applicants must be a high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school home schooled high school education General Educational Development (GED) certificate or state certificate; must attend an accredited post-secondary institution within the United States of America during the upcoming academic year; must pursue studies (career/technical/vocational, undergraduate, graduate, etc.) on a full-time basis during the upcoming academic year; must maintain a permanent address with the Foundation's service area (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; must include grade transcript(s), SAT and ACT rest scores, Student Aid Index (SAI) number from a processed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), email addresses of individuals whom request a recommendation.
