To support local graduates pursing degrees in the medical field. Qualifications: Applicant must have a high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school, or a GED; must attend or plan to attend an accredited postsecondary institution in the United States during the upcoming academic year on a full-time basis; must be pursuing a career in the medical field, such as nursing; must maintain a permanent address with the Foundation's service area (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). How to apply: Applicants must complete the application through the online portal. Transcripts, SAT and ACT scores (if available), SAI number from FAFSA (if available) and email address of individuals who will supply recommendations are required. Focus: Health sciences; Medicine; Nursing.
