To provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing their educational goal. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, or Charlotte counties; must be pursuing or planning to pursue further education at an accredited university, community college, technical school, or certification program. Selection criteria: Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee of community volunteers. Depending on the type of scholarship, interviews may be conducted on a case-by-case basis. How to apply: Applicants must submit the application form and also Transcript, Official or Unofficial; FAFSA Student Aid Report; Letters of Reference and Additional Attachments.
