To support high school students who wants to be a military pilot. Qualifications: Applicants must be college/university students pursuing a career as military aviators; must be in ROTC; must have and maintain a cumulative 3.00 or better GPA (on a 4-point scale); must plan to apply for and must be awarded a military aviation training allocation at the appropriate juncture in the student's chosen ROTC program; must stay in contact with sponsoring flight (attend a minimum of one flight meeting annually) and arrange for official grade reports and ROTC progress details to be provided by the university to the flight each semester to qualify for successive year's funding; intention to pursue a career as a military aviator; demonstration of moral character and patriotism; physical condition and aptitude for flight; financial need; freshmen are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be attach most recent official school transcript; photograph in ROTC uniform; no selfies; descendant applicants must attach a letter stating the rank and number of their sponsoring daedalian; began applicants must be submit the FAA medical certificate and an annotated copy of the flight physical standards questionnaire along with the DOD MERB results from ROTC physical. Focus: Aerospace sciences.
