To support students from Okinawa for master's or doctoral degree study at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa (UHM) in fields deemed beneficial to Okinawan development needs. Qualifications: Applicants must be permanent residents of Okinawa; Candidates must be pursuing master's or doctoral degrees at University of Hawai'i at Manoa in fields beneficial to Okinawan development; Applicants must demonstrate commitment to Asia-Pacific community building.
